Thanks Doug for your encouragement! I have started out many times to read the Bible in one year but have never made it this long. I am looking forward to the new Sermon Series on making sence of the Bible. As I read through the new testament, the letters written by Paul make so much more sense to me now. Its exciting to read and understand. Yes, understanding what I am reading is the key here. Thanks!

Please pray for my co-worker Ken and my witness to him. Another co-worker gave him a Bible for Christmas, and although he says he wants to read it, he also says he doesn't have the time. I gave him verses to look up for today and tomorrow. (James 1:17 and Ephesians 1:16-17) I plan to give him one a day, and see what happens. Do any of you have verses you might recommend? I thought it might be fun to see what verses affected you as you as you were coming to faith...
